Poor Dylan has had a virus and was unable to attend his Halloween tea party on Friday. Yesterday he spent the day in hospital but was able to come home at five o clock and is now feeling much better as his temperature has normalised. The doctors have said it may take a week for him to fully recover but that he should be fine to fly out to California a week on Monday to visit his Nana and Papa.

It wasn't actually very serious in the end. Matt and I weren't that worried but thought we'd get him checked out just in case as he had quite a high temperature. Initially we just went to the walk in centre (for minor issues). The doctor we saw (who was just a general practitioner) thought it might have been a chest infection so referred him to a pediatrician at the bigger hospital. In the end though it was diagnosed as a virus.
